This 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training consists of 100 hours of practice based Immersion followed by 100 focused hours on the art and science of effective, progressive, and transformational yoga teaching. Upon completion of the full 200 Hour program, your certificate enables you to apply for international registration with Yoga Alliance as an RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher).

Part One: Immersion (100 Hours)

Offered as a series of four progressive weekend modules, Immersion is a deep dive into: Biomechanics of Yoga Asana | Dynamic alignment principles of Align + Flow | In-depth exploration of Level 1, 2, and 3 postures | Applied anatomy & physiology | Fundamentals of breathing & Pranayama | Historical overview of Yoga | Comparative Yoga Philosophy with special focus on Tantra | Key teachings of the Yoga Sutras & the Bhagavad Gita | Subtle body anatomy and the Chakra system | Ayurveda | Meditation | Yoga Therapeutics | Restorative Yoga

This program may be taken on its own or as the first part of the 200 Hour program.

Module Schedule:
Thursday  6.00pm to 9.00pm
Friday      1.00pm to 7.00pm
Saturday  11.45am to 6.45pm
Sunday    11.45am to 5.00pm

Prerequisite:
At least 6 - 12 months of consistent yoga practice and minimum 15 hours on the mat at Grassroots. Exceptions possible for non-local folks by permission of instructor.

Cost: 
$2000 100 Hour Yoga Immersion only.

Part Two: Teacher Training (100 Hours)

These 100 hrs of focused Teacher Training will delve directly and exclusively into learning and practicing the building blocks of safe, skillful and inspirational yoga teaching. Over these four modules, you will deeply explore your personal relationship to yoga practice and begin to uncover your own unique gifts and authentic voice as a teacher of yoga.

Over the course of this intensive program, you will develop depth and discernment in your practice, deepen your experience of the study and service of yoga, and powerfully unearth your own unique, authentic voice.

Attendance at ALL four modules is compulsory to take part in this training. 

Prerequisite
Completion of this year's Immersion or past Immersion program. 
OR
with approval of the teacher, those who already hold an RYT-200 or 500 Certificate and wish to deepen their knowledge and expand their current teaching further with specific reference to the use of alignment, purposeful sequencing, and thematic instruction.
This option will only be open to those who are regular students at Grassroots and come in with strong understanding of the methodology we teach.

Cost
$4000 for the 200Hr Training Program
$3600 Early Bird Discount when paid in advance and in full.

$2000 for 100 Hour TT Program only. 25% discount for repeat students.
