Studio policies and practices

In times like these we understand how important Yoga really is to our health and wellbeing. We are excited to welcome you to the mat and look forward to looking after you in the following ways:


In conjunction with Ministry of Health guidelines please do not come to class if you are showing any symptoms or cold or flu. We look forward to seeing you when you are feeling better.
Book your class

By providing online booking you can secure your space and know that you will have a safe space to practice in. You can help us out by cancelling your spot ASAP if needed to ensure that other people have an opportunity to attend the class.

Arrival

At level 2 we will greet you in our facemasks on and a sanitised space. We need you to essentially do the same- facemask and hand sanitiser on please- its important for us to look after everyone. The shared cubbies are available for use – its a great place to store all of your personal items to keep the studio a clear and uncluttered space.

In class

Once you have set up your mat and organised the props you need – you are welcome to remove your facemask whilst you are on the mat- to protect you- we will keep ours on and will be staying on our mat to ensure a safe physical distance.

Leaving

We will sanitise all of the studio props used once you have left class- so feel free to leave them at your mat space. Go on and have an amazing time after class – make sure you take your belongings with you

Some general housekeeping to make this a great experience for everyone:
Parking

You can park in the Tannery carpark for a maximum of 3 hours.

Cell phones

We ask that you put cell phones on silent (not vibrate) and keep them away from your yoga mat, stored in your bag or the cubbies.

Special Conditions & Injuries

Please do not come if you are unwell. Anyone with serious medical conditions or injuries should consult their GP prior to beginning or resuming a yoga practice, and especially anyone that is immune compromised must get clearance from their health professional before attending a group class.  Advise teacher of any current conditions or injuries prior to the start of class. 1-1 private sessions are available as an alternative to joining a group class.

Whether it’s a team building event, a unique outing for a special group, or a private 1-1 session Grassroots Yoga would love to hear from you. We can also create a private Zoom class group for you.
