Lisa is an experienced coach, yoga teacher, workshop facilitator, best-selling writer and physiotherapist with over 25 years of experience. Committed and passionate about holistic women's wellness and women's physiology of empowerment and excellence. Lisa graduated as a Physiotherapist in 1993 and completed her first yoga teacher training with Rachel Zinman in 2008 in Ishta Yoga (an Integrated System of Hatha, Tantra and Ayurvedic Medicine). She has also studied Women's Health, acupuncture, Reiki Masters, Eastern and Western philosophy and nutrition and has completed a diploma in life and business coaching at The Coaching Institute. Since 2008, Lisa has been teaching regular women's physiology and empowerment workshops at yoga schools and in businesses to support heart-centred marketing and service. She also runs a successful women's coaching and training business, Sacred Womens Business Coaching. Lisa believes that when women tap into their feminine wisdom, the feminine shift restores balance and equality and helps to heal our troubled world.

An inner city retreat of 4 sessions to inspire, nourish and educate women on a path of wholeness, wellbeing & vitality.

Session 1: Finding your Voice - Chakras for Feminine Empowerment.

Session 2 & 3: Hormone balancing practices for feminine vitality and restoration of the nervous and endocrine systems.

Session 1: Friday 17 AUGUST 6-8.30PM

Finding your Voice - Chakras for Femnine Empowerment

In this 2.5hr session, understand the effects of the chakras upon our holistic wellbeing as a key to accessing greater levels of feminine empowerment and influence. The chakras provide a thorough map or lens for creating effective healing change and self-awareness in our lives. We will learn deeper levels of understanding how the chakra system influences our power, our voice and either supports or hinders a physiology of excellence. Lisa Fitzpatrick explores The Art of Feminine Influence and the chakras for feminine empowerment. 

We will understand how to balance the chakras to maximize their physiological and metaphysical wellbeing.  Gain clarity about specific chakras that influence our voice projection and ability to exude charismatic influence. The improvement of mental, emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing through regular engagement and connection with chakras will also build upon our base of understanding from the pelvic floor and 1st chakra to the 5th chakra.

Please wear comfortable clothes. During the session, we will be doing a short vocal practice to implement the concepts explored in the session. Handouts will be provided.


Session 2 & 3 - Saturday 18 August 12.30-2.30PM & 3.30-5.30PM

Hormone Balancing practices for feminine vitality and restoration of the nervous and endocrine system.

In these sessions Lisa explains the underlying causes of many women’s health concerns and imbalances. Understanding how to achieve balance in the hormonal (endocrine) system and nervous systems, is the key to addressing a myriad of common issues such as: poor energy levels, irregular or painful menstrual cycles, adrenal fatigue, sleep regulation, mood disorders,   low libido, breast health, infertility and difficulty relating to others.

Combining Ayurvedic and Western Scientific principles, Yogic and nadi science as well as herbal wisdom, Lisa shares powerful preventative and effective management tools and strategies for addressing these concerns by understanding how the hormonal system and nervous system both work. We will learn the unexpected ways that stress is affecting women’s holistic health and learn simple techniques to better understand the relationship between sex and stress hormones. We will identify subtle and not-so-subtle cues that signify burn out or adrenal fatigue, and we will self-test to determine whether our own nervous or endocrine systems need further restoration.

The day will be spent understanding and nurturing the endocrine and nervous systems in order to overcome, integrate and improve our management of the emotional, mental, spiritual and physical challenges of our modern era. The effects of this work are profound contentment, better relationships, better emotional stability, greater capacity for intimacy and vitality, true wisdom and holistic wellbeing. Please wear comfortable clothes. During the day, we will be doing a short, nourishing asana and pranayama practice designed for restoration and hormone balancing but this workshop will be primarily theoretical in nature. 

Session 4 Sunday 19 Ausgust 1.30 - 4.30PM

Mindfulness - secrets to transforming overwhelm

In this 3hr workshop, explore the importance of mindfulness for transforming stress, overwhelm, depression and anxiety as well as balancing hormones and supporting the nervous system. One of the most important practices for our modern era is based on ancient principles of presence and attention to awareness through the breath. Mindfulness is about being non-judgmental and self-aware, moment-to-moment in your everyday work and life. It means becoming intentional about the way you behave, more attentive to others and bringing greater levels of consciousness to what you're feeling. Mindfulness supports you to access your own wisdom and greater levels of self-acceptance too.

A regular Mindfulness practice has been proven to have many benefits, including: increased capacity to manage stress, improvement of effieciency and productivity, improved emotional wellbeing and a sense of inner peace, reinforced trust in intuition and generally help us become more resilient.

Combining ancient and modern approach to mindfulness meditation, Lisa shares the most effective ways to establish a home practice of mindfulness. She reveals the differences between a formal and informal mindfulness practice. We will also learn how the benefits of mindfulness apply to everyone regardless of their background. When we understand how the mind works, we can experience an incredible level of freedom from suffering and a greater capacity for love, creativity, presence, awareness and wisdom for ageless wellbeing.

Please wear comfortable clothes. During the session, we will be learning a simple and potent mindfulness regime designed for establishing a regular home practice. This workshop will contain theory and practice. Suitable for yoga teachers, yoga students and the general public. Experience a nourishing, safe and caring space, where attendees can share openly, explore their inspiring insights and engage and collaborate on this important work. Helpful for those wanting to teach the practice of mindfulness and those wanting to establish a regular daily practice.
